Model Railway Scenery Review - Signal Box
Hornby Skaledale Signal Box – R8632

Review:
The brickwork on this Skaledale Signal Box helps make this
lineside scenery item look realistic. The brickwork has been
weathered which adds to it's realistic look, but there is no
weathering on the roof. I think that some weathering on the roof
would have helped on this particular signal box. The weathering
looks darker than that shown in the picture above.
The
nameplate of the signal box has been left blank for you to add
your own name to.
On this
particular signal box being reviewed, the stairs, walkway,
windows and rear door does not appear to be straight. The slates
in the decking of the walkway and stairs looks good, adding to
the realism of this model.
If these
little defects do not appear on all of the models created then
this signal box could make a nice addition to your model railway
layout.
